Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actor. She received the Emmy Awards in the year 2017 because of her performance as Martha Hanson, the star of the FX's period-set spy show The Americans. Additionally, she appeared in Ryan Murphy's cult show Feud and Bette & Joan & Hollywood. Wright was born in Sunderland native, born 12th July, 1976. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was a student at the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as The Barrow Group in New York City. The waitress was employed while auditioning for parts. She had been scuba diving which was a love of hers, when she suffered a cardiac incident at sea, which put her in a in a coma. Six days later she died at peace at the side of her loved ones the bedside. Wright was born at Sunderland within Tyne and Wear on July 12, 1976, was raised there by her adoptive parents.
